After creating my silhouette design i felt like it still needed something more. I began experimenting with padding to create a bigger structure coming from the french pleat and pulling bit of the hair out making it more eccentric. I also tried crimping the hair to give a more decaying texture.
With this final image i tried to make it a lot larger then the others but After talking to Semma and Lottie we decided it was too avant-garde and i didn't want it to end up looking contemporary as it had to be Victorian.
I then practiced on my mum and my partner Beth before my assessment day, to make sure i could keep creating it to look the same every time as this has to work for continuity.
I ordered cobwebs for my look and added them here on my mum to show where i would want them for my final look.
These are the practices from practicing on my partner Beth. After showing Seema afterwards we decided to make it look better to make sure not to have a gap between the front section and the pleat in my final design and get the bottom of the french pleat a bit tighter. I would then add cobwebs, veil and white spray on the day. I also like the crimp as it gives a better texture for my look.
